AUSTRALIA’S best-selling burger king has announced plans to take a gamble on a new franchise.
Samyang Spicy Noodles is hoping to break into the Chinese market with the introduction of its new spicy noodles.
The company, which has more than 3,000 restaurants around the world, is planning to open a second location in Melbourne in the next year.
It said its first Australian location will be a “new, exciting location” with “new-generation noodles”.
“We’re very excited about this opportunity, it’s a great opportunity for us,” Mr Samyang said.
“The growth of the noodle market is a growing one and we believe that with a fast-growing Chinese market, we will be able to compete and do well.”

Samyangs best’The company said it has plans to expand its menu across Asia and the Middle East and the US and has already partnered with local restaurateurs.
“We have partnered with many local Chinese restaurant owners, we’ve got a very close relationship with our local Chinese friends, and we have a great relationship with the local Australian chefs, as well,” Mr Samuel said.
Mr Samyangs best-seller is the original Singapore beef burger.
“Our Singapore beef burgers are renowned around the globe,” he said.
