I don´t want to eat meat or eggs.
I don t even want to look at pictures of them.
But now I can.
I am an avid vegan, or at least I have always been, and I know what I want.
And I know I can do it without any regrets.
I know it sounds weird to say, but I am vegan.
I have no regrets.
And, for me, that is worth being an animal rights activist.
The world will not end if I don get my wish to live on a vegan diet.
It doesn t even seem worth it to me.
I am in the middle of a transition.
I know my transition will take longer than anyone could have expected.
My husband is transitioning too.
But we have both been vegan for years.
We are both going vegan for a few reasons.
One, it gives me the opportunity to experience the life of a vegan.
Two, it allows me to learn about the animals that are living in the world and how to care for them.
And three, it enables me to experience my love of animals in a way that I can never imagine being able to experience it otherwise.
I am vegan because I am tired of living in a world where animals are treated as property.
It is time for change.
I can feel it.
And if I can make a difference, so can the rest of the world.
